VersusA crush- is something that is felt in moments. Bits and pieces of what it is like to be in love pervade the relationship, but nothing solid could ever come from a crush. Because a crush is a whim, and whims generally lead to pain. To have a crush is to care about someone in a significant way, yet to not actually be in love with them.
